Independent Living Services
The Independence Center (The IC) was founded by and for people with disabilities. We believe that people with disabilities have the right to make informed decisions about how and where they want to live. To that end, The IC provides a variety of services aimed at empowering people with disabilities to maintain their independence within the community. Our primary services include Peer Support, Advocacy, Independent Living Skills Training and Information and Referral.

Our Home Health Care division follows the same philosophy as The IC. We believe that people have the right to receive necessary skilled and unskilled care, how and where they choose in order to maintain their individual independence. We provide a full range of services to clients in their homes including Skilled Nursing, Certified Nurse’s Aide, Personal Care Provider, In-Home Support Services, Occupational Therapy and Physical Therapy. We specialize in long-term care and offer no-cost in-home evaluations for new clients. We are Medicaid and Medicare Certified and Licensed with the State of Colorado. |
